The New Chiefs Command Staff Training Class begins April 5th through April 9th. This class is mandatory for new chiefs who have been hired or elected as a chief within the last twelve (12) months.

The number of police officers laid off Friday dropped from 155 to 124, bringing 31 officers from the brink.
